Micro component manufacturing

 

ICT undertakes a wide array of micro component assembly work from its UK manufacturing facility in Shepperton.

 

In-house production capabilities include: thin film deposition, micro lapping, wafer dicing, and  wire bonding.  Typical micro components manufactured by ICT are inkjet components such as: printer nozzles, charge electrodes and phase detectors for printhead assemblies.

Product design, development and prototyping

The continual programme of investment in equipment and processes enables us to offer a product design, development and prototyping service that results in innovative designs and prototypes. These provide customers with benefits ranging from cost reductions and operational efficiencies to improvements in product design and reliability.

ICT was founded in 1991 by staff with extensive experience of the magnetic recording head industry.  In addition to manufacturing custom built, high-quality micro components and assemblies for a wide range of industry sectors, ICT now provides a  repair, refurbishment and replacement service for a large variety of recording heads still in use.
